To grow as a leader, it’s not just about you talking. It’s about listening deeply. Dr. Ada Luz Gonzalez is an expert in leadership development through listening. A native of Cuba, her experience of limited free speech made her keenly aware of the impact of censorship and being shut out. She developed a body of work that frees people to fully express themselves through communication skills.

About Dr. Ada Luz Gonzalez

Dr. Ada Gonzalez is an executive coach, facilitator, and a consultant in organizational behavior.  She works with leaders, businesses and organizations to facilitate change, development and growth through dialogue. She shows business leaders how to optimize the power of leading through conversations.

Dr. Ada is the Owner of Logos Noesis, through which she provides executive coaching, facilitation as well as executive retreats and training intensives. She is also the author of the book:Transformative Conversations: The heart of the leadership journey.

Born and raised in Cuba, Dr. Ada has lived in several countries. Her multicultural experiences and fluency in both Spanish and English have contributed to shaping who she is, as well as how she communicates and interacts with the world.

She is passionate about reviving the art of conversations. Growing up in Communist Cuba was living with the constant fear about saying the wrong thing and having someone assume it was a counterrevolutionary statement. The consequences could be dire. For her, freedom means been able to explore and express thoughts and emotions to find the best path to action. That’s why she’s passionate about dialogue in conversations.

She believes open communication should be the centerpiece of leadership. A work place where people are afraid to speak their minds lacks engagement and innovation. She shows executives how their most daunting leadership issues can be resolved by creating safe spaces where people are free to express themselves and thus leaders can optimize the power of diversity thinking and leading through conversations.

Dr. Gonzalez education is very interdisciplinary. In addition to undergraduate and graduate work at Andrews University in Michigan with an MA in Educational and Developmental Psychology.  she earned her Ph.D. at the Union Institute and University in Ohio. Her degree is on Organizational Behavior, with an emphasis on leadership, dialogue, and change.

Dr. Ada is member of the Association of Corporate Executive Coaches and of the Organizational Development Network. She is a SHRM preferred provider offering PDC credits. She is also a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the states of DE and TX, and a Clinical Fellow of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
